EP n°4: The ill-timed J27

Dear XXXX,

What are you up to
Now that you don’t need to avoid me anymore?
Now that you can give smiles regardless of my sore?
Now that you don’t have to act some kind of sickness or expeditiousness?
Free, don’t you?

I do not hate you. I shouldn’t
Kicking me out of your life has been the biggest favor
You could have done to me
You’ve been able to kill the tiny butterfly
Which was growing up deep in my insides
That’s why I should thank you instead of blame you

I’d rather keep from you your daintiness
The charm you used to spread every time you went by
The chords you used to play behind my chest
Your graceful smile beaming in the Pavilion’s shadow
Your eyes reflecting the hankering you were trying to put down
The grey green of the eyes I fell in love with

Those eyes which would announce me that the J27 was on its way
That double-deck which would tear us away
I’ll always remember that bench on Kensington Garden
As a first class witness of my never-started romance
with the most beautiful girl I’ve never cherished

She was a dreamer, like me
I was confused, like her.
